Bi-fold closet doors are constantly used during the day in homes and businesses. Because bi-fold doors are used everyday, from storage to room partition uses and everything in between, it's not uncommon for closet hardware to wear out over time. When a bi-fold door starts to malfunction, it is most likely due to the hardware needing to be replaced.

You can be a proactive home or business owner by advocating for yourself. Make sure you look out for these red flags when using your bi-fold closet doors:

  • doors falling off their tracks (this is a common problem many face).
  • "sticking" together when attempting to open or close your closet doors.
  • panels breaking apart.
  • your closet doors are creaking open when you are attempting to close them.

By regularly maintaining and inspecting the hardware of your bi-fold doors, you can ensure they continue to function smoothly and efficiently.

Should you come across any issues, it's important to address them as soon as possible to prevent further damage and ensure the longevity of your doors. We are always here to help you and your team out.
